Here are some ways you can contribute to the CRO:
1.) Pantry Donations
When our shelves are stocked, our neighbors get the amount of food they need! We accept donations of non-perishable food items like cans of soup, peanut butter and jelly, pasta and cereal. All donations must be unopened and unexpired to be accepted.
We welcome garden produce and farm fresh eggs! Hunters are also welcome to donate meat after it has been processed. Venison is popular with our neighbors who receive assistance!
We also welcome other necessary goods like toiletries, toilet paper, feminine hygiene products, laundry and cleaning supplies, pet food, baby formula, etc.
How to Donate
We accept donations during our regular operating hours at our location between Food Lion and the ABC store in Mount Holly.
If you want to make a donation outside our normal operating hours, you can drop it off with one of our Community Partners.
We also accept donations via Amazon! Simply click the link below and see our Amazon wish list, which we keep updated. Whatever you purchase there will be delivered to the CRO!
2.) Financial Contributions
We rely on continued financial support from the community in order to keep our service operation running. 90% of the CRO’s income is from churches, businesses and individuals in the community.
Donated funds are used to provide rent and utility assistance, to buy needed pantry items that are running low, and to run our basic operating expenses.
